There is no doubt that the Finding Nemo and the Finding Dory films were huge hits amongst a variety of audiences when they were released, and it seems BetSoft have looked to take inspiration from those hugely successful titles with this offering.
The Under the Sea slot game provides players with the same imagery that many would come to expect when they are looking for the fish in this particular game, whilst the nostalgia provided to us whilst doing our Under the Sea game review certainly made this even more enjoyable to do!
The game is played across a grid of 5×3 and has 30 paylines available. Players are able to adjust the number of lines activated, though, with as few as 1 being allowed to try and win from. Stakes can start from €0.01 per spin, whilst there is the possibility to bet as high as €150 when using all five coins on each payline available.
There is an ‘AutoPlay’ button available for those that want to just sit back and watch the reels do their magic under the sea, whilst there is a ‘Max Bet Spin’ button that allows those who want to place the maximum wager and spin the reels with just one click.
There are a number of symbols available within the game, although it is the Under the Se slot bonuses that will make this game’s rewards worthy of winning. The symbols include a blonde lady, a green fish, a yellow fish, a blue fish, orange fish, a grey fish and a flatter blue fish.
There are three special symbols that are available, with each providing players with the best rewards. The Pearl – which is still in its claim shell – is the game’s wild and comes with a multiplier. 1 wild in a win will see rewards doubled, whereas wins with 2 or 3 wilds will see rewards of 4x and 8x respectively.
The game’s scatter symbol, though, is the ship and this will trigger the free spins feature found in the game, whereas another bonus symbol in the game is the treasure chest, which leads to a small bonus game. These symbols are all explained in more detail below.
As mentioned, there are some bonuses available in this Under the Sea slot game produced by BetSoft, with the free spins round the first of them. When at least three ships are landed on the reels, a reward of 8 free spins will be handed to the player, whereas four and five ships will hand out 12 and 15 free spins respectively.
Once the spins are used, players will return to the base game, although there is still the possibility to retrigger the bonus feature if the reels land in the player’s favour.
When landing on three treasure chests in the base game, players are taken to a new underwater scene in which they are able to choose from a number of chests. A number of different rewards are on offer for players to collect, however this game will end when the ‘Collect’ chest is picked.
RTP (return to player)
With a return to player (RTP) rate of 95.5%, BetSoft have provided an underwater adventure that is certainly worth the time of trying to spin out some big rewards!
